Dhoni has been involved in numerous number of endorsements till date and is still a big draw for companies to endorse their products. Recently, Star India, who hold the official broadcast rights for Indian domestic matches and international matches at home, have launched a new entertainment channel Star भारत. Therefore, as a part of its promotion, Star India roped in Dhoni to promote the ‘Bhula de darr‘ (Get rid of fear) campaign, which is the catchphrase of the channel. Recently, an official video of the campaign was released by the channel where Dhoni is seen saying that how he feared when he quit his railways job in pursuit of his cricketing career. However, he says that he was strong enough to get rid of the fear and make a successful career in cricket. In another similar video, Indian women skipper Mithali Raj too promoted the campaign.
