India batter Nitish Kumar Reddy played a really entertaining innings of 42 against Australia on the first day of the Adelaide Test. The knock which came off 54 deliveries, included 3 boundaries and sixes each and massively helped India in reaching a respectable total of 180.

Out of the 3 sixes hit by Nitish, one was particularly incredible. In the 42nd over of the innings, Nitish played an extraordinary reverse-scoop against Australia pacer Scott Boland, which went sailing away for a six. The shot left both the fans and commentators stunned as they couldn’t help but appreciate Nitish’s fearless approach.

Nitish was the last wicket to fall for India and was dismissed by pacer Mitchell Starc, who picked up his sixth wicket of the innings. The 34-year-old again proved why he is one of if not the best bowler in the world when it comes to pink-ball Tests.

Nitish can hold his head high as the youngster wasn’t only the top-scorer for India in the innings but also massively helped the Men in Blue in reaching a respectable first inning total.
