It is safe to say Pat Cummins is somewhat non-classified allrounder. While he is known to the world as one of the best captain and bowler of all time, he also thrives when it comes to scoring runs with the bat or fielding

Now, Pat Cummins has given yet another show of his bowling and fielding skills on the second Test of the Frank Worrell Trophy. Cummins secured a catch that is going to be remembered for a long time. The star Australian secured the ball off his own delivery, claiming the wicket of Keacy Carty.

Though on might assume it was just a difficult catch, it was actually a miraculous one, as Pat Cummins attempted an extreme leap to secure the wicket. The ball had hit the bat, and then the pad of the West Indies batter- going in the air. It is worth noting that the ball was significantly far away from the bowler’s side.

Needless to say, the ball being quite far away from Pat Cummins was not a problem for him. As soon as he delivered the ball and completed his run-up, he went leaping towards the ball and made a dive by completely stretching his body. He secured the catch single-handedly (with his left hand).

It is generally difficult for a bowler since they are usually not in a position after delivering a ball. However, in case of Pat Cummins, it was multiple times harder as he caught the ball which was very far away from where he would have gone with the follow-through of his already fast run-up.

Speaking about the match, Australian team had won the toss and decided to bat first. Even though Beau Webster and Alex Carey scored half-centuries, the team was bowled out for just 286.
