The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Narendra Modi Stadium saw a small moment of heat as Riyan Parag was seen expressing his anger after getting dismissed.
Riyan Parag seemed to have been in solid momentum and ready for a big score, but Kulwant Khejroliya got his wicket on his debut. Riyan seemed to have edged a ball to the wicketkeeper, and was given as out by the on-field umpire. Parag, however, did not waste much time and asked for a review.
As the umpire took the review, the ultra edge showed a spike on the screen when the ball passed the bat, meaning there was contact. Riyan Parag’s dismissal was hen confirmed, and it also costed RR a review.
However, the young batter was not happy with that decision, and got involved in an animated chat with the umpire. Riyan seemed to have claimed that the spike was from the ball hitting the ground rather than the edge of the bat.

Talking about the match, Gujarat Titans had batted first, and with strong performance by their players, had posted 217 on the board.
Rajasthan Royals witnessed a collapse in their batting order, as they lost wickets in every couple overs. This fall in their lineup also became the reason why they eventually lost the match by 58 runs.
