Indian skipper Rohit Sharma pulled off a stunning one-handed catch on fourth day of the second Test against Bangladesh at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. The morning crowd was thrilled as fans cheered Rohit’s acrobatic effort at short cover. 

Rohit timed his jump to perfection and took a brilliant catch as Mohammed Siraj got his first wicket of the innings in the form of Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das for 13 runs.

Shubman Gill’s reaction echoed the sentiments of Indian fans as the batter had his hands on his head, thrilled by his captain’s efforts. Even Rohit was surprised as the ball got stuck in his hand at exactly the right time.

After he took the sensational catch, Rohit was swarmed by his teammates as he celebrated a fine piece of fielding effort that had restricted Bangladesh to 148/5.
