He is a man of few words. When Sir Curtly Ambrose played cricket, he never spoke much, but made exceptional use of his eyes to terrorise the batsmen. Legend has it that every time the journalists tried speaking to him, the pace great refused interview requests saying, ‘Curtly talk to no man’. But not speaking much never affected his game, as he expressed himself beautifully on the cricket field. Similarly, there is one more field where the legendary cricketer expresses himself exceptionally well. The supremely talented cricketer is also an equally gifted musician. If you are in Antigua and do not get to see Ambrose perform live, then it is a waste of a visit to the Caribbean. But if you cannot visit the islands, you don’t have to get disappointed. We bring to you a recent video of Ambrose performing live with his band in a night club in Antigua. When you see this side of his personality, it gets hard to believe he is the same person who troubled best of the batsmen from his generation with his menacing pace and accuracy.
