Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were seen in an on-field argument with umpires during Day 4 of the 1st Test between India and New Zealand in Bengaluru. This happened after the second innings of India when Jasprit Bumrah bowled four balls of his first over. It was due to bad light that the umpires were forced to stop the game, but Rohit and his team were seen trying to convince them to continue the game.

While Rohit and team were trying to convince umpires, New Zealand openers Tom Latham, and Devon Conway had already left the pitch and went back to the dressing room after the signal of umpire about bad light. The groundsmen were also quick to cover the ground before heavy rain struck the venue.
