The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are unstoppable in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 9. On Tuesday, the side led by Virat Kohli went past the Gujarat Lions (GL) in the qualifier 1 riding on AB de Villiers’ brilliant knock and became the first team to enter the final of season 9. The mega event on Sunday is going to their third attempt at the title, with the last one coming five years back.
RCB have never won the IPL, but this team looks completely different. It is a closely-knit family and the bonding players share is reflecting on their game. They all back each other and enjoy each others’ success, a key mantra for a successful unit. But there’s another important aspect about successful teams that they celebrate together; they work hard and party harder.
RCB are no different in this regard. Off the field, the entire unit enjoys together and on one such recent instance, their skipper Kohli, middle-order batsman Mandeep Singh and explosive opener Chris Gayle were seen hitting the dance floor on bhangra beats. The funny video makes for a great view as the only non-Punjabi amongst the three Gayle tries to emulate the Punjabi boys. Enjoy the video, which was shared by RCB’s official YouTube channel, here:
