India star batter Virat Kohli and pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah missed the practice pink-ball Test against the Prime Minster’s XI and instead participated in an intense net session at the Manuka Oval in Canberra ahead of the second Border-Gavaskar series Test that will be held in Adelaide from December 6.

In a video that is making rounds on social media, Bumrah can be seen bowling to Kohli in the nets, who seems to have regained his confidence with the Perth Test where he scored a fabulous century.

The duo opted to skip the practice pink-ball match where India defeated the Prime Minister’s XI by achieving the target of 241 with 3 overs left to spare.

Coming to the match, Sam Konstas’ fantastic 90-ball ton saw the PM XI post a fighting total of 240 before getting bundled out in 43.2 overs.

In reply, Shubman Gill (50) and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s (45) gritty knocks saw the Men in Blue reach the target with rather ease and beat the PM XI side.
