It is no news that Virat Kohli is an ardent fan of Sachin Tendulkar from a very tender age. Kohli, in many of his interviews, has revealed how he used to stay glued to the TV during Tendulkar’s knocks and later was overwhelmed to share the dressing room with him. So, when Tendulkar stepped into 44 on Monday, it was obvious that Kohli had some special way to wish his idol prepared. The cricketer himself sang the signature ‘Happy Birthday Song’ for the maestro and posted a video to wish Tendulkar on the very special day.
It was an event at Bangalore that Kohli was attending. Always charismatic with his presence, Kohli made his fans present there to sing and wish the Master Blaster, showing a nice gesture. The venue echoed the tunes of ‘Happy Birthday dear Sachin’ as Kohli led them. He later posted the video via his Twitter account saying, “Wish you a very Happy Birthday @sachin_rt from a few fans in Bengaluru.” He had earlier wished Tendulkar, posting a photo with the caption, “Happy B’day Paaji. May God bless you with more happiness and peace in life. My cricket hero always.” Here is the video he posted:

Kohli is currently leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 and will later lead the Indian team as the side enters the Champions Trophy 2017 as the defending champions.
