The second day of the third Border-Gavaskar series Test in Brisbane was mainly controlled by Australia, who dominated throughout the 3 sessions thanks to twin centuries and a 241-run stand from Steve Smith and Travis Head.

India did make a strong comeback in the third session as Jasprit Bumrah picked up his 12th fifer in red-ball cricket. The seamer dismissed both Smith and Head before also taking the wicket of Mitchell Marsh in quick succession. The hosts ended the day on 405/7.

A video from the third session is now making rounds on social media where Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant can be seen plotting Head’s wicket.

In the video, Kohli can be seen advising Jadeja to bowl a little quicker to which Pant agreed and said that it will at least create some chance.

Despite the valuable advice, Jadeja failed to get Head’s wicket, and it was Bumrah who eventually dismissed the left-handed batter for 152. The pacer was easily the best performer for the Men in Blue on the second day of the Test.
