The Mumbai Cricket Association on Friday inaugurated stands named after Rohit Sharma, former India captain Ajit Wadekar and former BCCI president Sharad Pawar at the Wankhede Stadium. Rohit Sharma arrived with his entire family on this special occasion.
After the event, a video of Rohit Sharma is going viral, in which the Hitman is seen very angry over his brother Vishal, as he caused a dent in his car. Rohit’s anger burst out as he asked Vishal, “Ye kya hai?” His brother was caught off-guard and replied “Reverse!” This avatar of Rohit Sharma as Angry Brother is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
Rohit, who retired from T20 cricket after leading India to World Cup victory last year, said, “I am still playing and have retired from two formats.” When I play here on the 21st (IPL for Mumbai Indians) and there is a stand named after me, it will be special, it will be very special to play here for India.

Rohit, who retired from Test cricket on May 7, said on seeing his name in the stands of Wankhede Stadium, “What is happening today, I had never imagined it. You try to achieve many achievements but this is something special because Wankhede Stadium is different and many memories were made here.
