West Indies A cruised past 350 as Nikita Miller (45) inched closer to his half-century on day two of the first unofficial four-day match at Mysore. West Indies A were at 357 for the loss of six wickets at lunch on day two. Along with Miller, Assad Fudadin was unbeaten on 36.
West Indies lost one wicket in the first session of day two. Wicketkeeper Chadwick Walton (35) got dismissed in the by Ishwar Pandey as he was caught leg-before.
West Indies resumed on day two at 264 for five. Pandey brought an end to Walton and Fudadin’s stand in the morning.
Earlier, on day one, half-centuries from Kraigg Brathwaite (92) and Kirk Edwards (91) steered the West Indies A’s innings. The duo put on 172 runs for the second wicket after Kieran Powell fell early. Pandey broke the stand in the post-lunch session by bowling Edwards, before Parvez Rasool got Brathwaite caught behind soon after. Rasool picked up two for 60.
