Making his debut for West Indies in the series against New Zealand, Sunil Ambris set a unique record on the first ball of his career. Just two days into his international career, Ambris managed to get another record to his name. After being hit-wicket on the first-ball of his career, he became the sixth batsmen to get off the mark with a six in Test cricket.

Ambris was out on a golden duck in the first innings. In the second innings, Ambris managed to clear the rope off Trent Boult. The last to record such a feat was Sri Lanka’s Dhananjaya de Silva, against Australia.
