What a catch! Hinds’ sight is 20/20!

Running back a few meters, Hinds dived full stretch forward to complete a spectacular catch.

This moment in February 2010 is something Wavell Hinds will remember for long. Australian opener Shane Watson miscued a shot, to send the ball high in the air. Hinds ran back from mid-on, and never took off his eyes off the ball. Even after running behind for a few meters, the ball seemed to die on him. It needed a super-human effort to complete the catch. Hinds just did that. He dived full stretch forward to complete the spectacular catch, and send the dangerous Watson back to pavilion.

Commentator Tony Greig said, “This is one of the best catches I have ever seen.”

Very few will disagree with Greig.
