Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings are set to lock horns in the Indian Premier League 2025 Final at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Both PBKS and RCB will be aiming to win their maiden IPL title. While one team will finally lift the trophy for the first time, the other will be left heartbroken. With Qualifier 2 in Ahmedabad already disrupted by rain, both camps remain anxious about the weather outlook for their final showdown on Tuesday, May 3.
According to the weather forecast, rain is expected in the evening at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium for a brief duration. However, conditions remain unpredictable, and a light drizzle could potentially turn into continuous rainfall.
Unlike Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2, and the Eliminator, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has scheduled a reserve day for the IPL 2025 Final. If rain prevents play on Tuesday, the match will be completed on Wednesday, May 4.
In that scenario, the team that finished higher in the league stage will be declared the champion. This means Punjab Kings would win the title, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru would have to settle for being runners-up.
