Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) 14-year-old batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke several long-standings records of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as he helped his team secure a strong 8-wicketvictory over Gujarat Titans (GT) on April 28.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke the previous mark set by Yusuf Pathan and became the fastest Indian to score a century in IPL history, reaching the feat in just 35 balls. At the age of 14 years and 32 days, Suryavanshi surpassed Manish Pandey (19 years 253 days) and marked himself to be the youngest centurion in IPL history.

Even legendary cricketers like Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh were impressed with Vaibhav’s impressive ability with the bat. Yusuf Pathan even praised the youngster for breaking his record.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi secured another world record, as at the age of 14 years and 32 days he became the youngest player to score a century in the T20 format. The previous record was held by Vijay Zol, who had scored a ton against Mumbai in 2018 at age of 18 years and 118 days.
