Over the years, South Africa have produced some of the best fielders in the world and Justin Kemp lived up to the reputation of Proteas being remarkable on the field.

In an Indian Cricket League (ICL) match between Hyderabad Heroes and Lahore Badshahs in Ahmedabad, Kemp playing for the Heroes took a blinder to dismiss Badshah’s Mohammed Sami.

It was the second final of the 2008-09 season, and Badshahs chasing 159 were brought back in to the game, thanks to a partnership between tail-enders Mohammed Sami and Saqlain Mushtaq. The duo almost won the game for their team needing 27 off 15 when Sami lofted Nicky Boje to long-off.  Kemp ran back, jumped full stretched with his right arm extended. His hand was in a position as if he was trying a backhand flick. He landed on his right leg in such a way that he got enough control to not fall over the boundary rope, though he was excruciatingly close to it. In the end it was clean and brilliant.
