Australia spinner Nathan Lyon, who completed a year in international cricket, remembers defeating India 4-0 at home as the most special moment of his career so far.

“That was pretty special. It’s hard to narrow it down but to win that series 4-0 against one of the best sides in the world, that was pretty good,” Lyon said.

The off-spinner is the second Australian to take a wicket on the first ball bowled in their Test careers. The other Australian was Arthur Coningham, who achieved this feat back in 1894.

“I’ve still got a lot of work to do to even get close to having my spot safe. There are still a lot of quality spinners around the country. I’m not even close to that happening,” Lyon was quoted as saying by www.news.com.au.

Lyon has taken 42 wickets from 13 Tests till now. He made his debut against Sri Lanka, finishing with figures of six for 107.
