If the match gets washed out, Punjab Kings will automatically advance to the IPL 2025 final because Shreyas Iyer and his team secured the top spot in the league stage standings, while Mumbai Indians finished fourth.
Therefore, based on their position in the points table, PBKS will move on to face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final as they aim for their first-ever IPL title.
