# Suresh Raina (53 off 105 balls) registered his second fifty against the West Indies – his fourth in Tests.

# Raina enjoys an impressive record on foreign soil — 391 in eight innings at an average of 55.85, including one hundred and three fifties as against his average of 20.57 in India.

# VVS Laxman, during the course of his 85 off 146 balls, has completed his 8000 runs in Test cricket. He has become the fourth Indian to register the feat.

# Laxman became the third Indian to record 50 fifties in Tests. Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid have posted 59 half-centuries each.
