Australian star batter Travis Head has given a warning to the Indian team ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series opener. The series is going to be held in Perth, Australia, which is well-known for its infamous bouncy pitch.
Travis, who himself has a fair amount of experience on the challenging conditions provided by Perth, remembered how he got dismissed twice in the last India v Australia Test held there in 2018. He highlighted how certain part of wickets in Perth can be incredibly intimidating, which pose a massive challenge for the batters.
“I do know that I’ve enjoyed batting here – in parts. There are parts of this wicket that can be terrifying, simple as that. I think everyone’s talked about that. Depending on where the wicket goes to on day three, four and five, it can be challenging,” said Travis on the Unplayable Podcast.
