Will Jasprit Bumrah miss more IPL 2025 game for Mumbai Indians? Reports unveils major reports

According to reports, Mumbai Indians' star pacer Jasprit Bumrah will not only miss the match against Lucknow Super Giants but will also be unavailable for the match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Indian Cricket Team star bowler Jasprit Bumrah is set miss Mumbai Indians clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and is also doubtfull for their next match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 7, according to a report by ESPNcricinfo. The report also mentioned that Bumrah, who has been undergoing rehab since the start of 2025, is nearing his return.

Meanwhile, Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer expressed concern for Team India on Tuesday, admitting he is “a little worried” after their disappointing Border-Gavaskar Trophy defeat to Australia. However, he remains hopeful that the team will “get their act together” before their England tour, which marks the start of their ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 campaign.

Jaffer while speaking to Boria Majumdar on Revsports said, ” I am little worried, without a doubt. After watching India play in Australia, I am little worried.”

“The form of our batters. What if Jasprit Bumrah is not available in that Test series as well? Or if Mohammed Shmai is not available for that matter? What will happen? So, I am definitely worried that Dukes ball, our batters have batted in Australia. If that same trend continues, we will definitely struggle.” Jaffer siad

“So, I am a little bit worried. But I hope they get their act together. And I hope we win a series, which we have not done for a long time in England. But we need to do much better than what we did, you know, in Australia,” he added

The last time India won a match in England was in 2007 under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid by 1-0. India’s last Test series in England ended in a 2-2 draw in 2022. The team initially led 2-1 under Virat Kohli, but the rescheduled fifth Test at Edgbaston, played under Jasprit Bumrah’s captaincy, resulted in a series tie.

Their upcoming five-match Test series in England is set to begin on June 20 in Leeds with the first Test.
