Though Australia have also won both the One-Day International series 2-1 each, still England have prevailed 10-8 over the course of the points based Ashes system 10-8 thanks to their win in the Test series reported Cricket World.

England had scored 101 for 8 in at the ANZ stadium which was easily hunted down by Australia with 9 balls to spare.

Australia had previously won the toss and had elected to bowl which turned out to be a great decision for the home side.

Though the injury prone English bowling were missing the likes of Katherine Brunt, Natasha Farrant and Anya Shrubsole, still they tried to defend the total in vain, thanks to some great batting by the Australians.
