Father of former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Yograj Singh has yet again started controversy with his unbelievable remarks, this time for Kapil Dev. Yograj pointed his finger at Kapil Dev. In an interview, Yograj did not hold back against Kapil Dev. Kapil has an uneasy relationship with Yograj, since Yograj was dropped out of the Indian team in 1981. Since then, Yograj has continuously declared Kapil in playing as a turning point in him being removed, along with seeing him as a possible rival.
In his latest take in pointing fingers, Yograj mentioned that his son, Yuvraj, has secured 13 major trophies in his career, while Kapil only had a World Cup title. This interpreted to be that the ‘revenge’ he wanted was completed by his son Yuvraj, even though it came with a degrading remark for Kapil.
“The greatest captain of our time, Kapil Dev… I told him, I’ll leave you in a position where the world would curse you. Today, Yuvraj Singh has 13 trophies, and you have only one, the World Cup. End of discussion,” Yograj said.
