Legendary India cricketer Yuvraj Singh is set to feature in the first season of the International Masters League (IML) and will be representing the India Masters. The tournament is set to be played from February 22 to March 16 this year.
Yuvraj is a 2-time World Cup winner for India and played crucial roles in the Men in Blue’s 2007 T20 World Cup triumph as well as their 2011 ODI World Cup triumph.
The left-handed batter was awarded with the Player of the Series award for his brilliant performances with the bat and the ball throughout the 2011 World Cup.
Speaking on his return to cricket as part of the India Masters, Yuvraj said, “Taking the field with Sachin (Tendulkar) and my other teammates feels like reliving the glory days.
“Playing alongside all of them brings back so many memories. For me, the IML is a tribute to the era that defined Indian cricket, and I can’t wait to create some more unforgettable memories for all the fans who have supported us over the years.”

Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is set to lead the India Masters side in the IML. Other prominent stars that will be featuring in the tournament are JP Duminy, Jacques Kallis (South Africa), Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka), Eoin Morgan (England), Shane Watson (Australia) and Brian Lara (West Indies).
