When IPL 2017 was in full-swing, Zaheer Khan and his girlfriend Sagarika Ghatge got secretly engaged in a place far away from the cricket madness. Post their secret engagement, Sagarika had stressed that the couple would formally make it public after the IPL. She had also mentioned that such a party would be organised by Zaheer. On Tuesday evening, Zaheer and Sagarika threw a party for all their friends and family. Cricketers and Bollywood celebrities showed their presence on this occasion. Where Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma walked hand-in-hand, Rohit Sharma and wife Ritika Sajdeh also made it for the party post their IPL success bash. Zaheer Khan gets engaged to Sagarika Ghatge
Apart from them, Sachin Tendulkar along with wife Anjali also came in for the event. Yuvraj Singh as well as Ajay Jadeja also made it for the ceremony. Speaking to Times of India post the engagement, Sagarika said, “Zak secretly planned our engagement for days; and I honestly had no clue. I had no idea that he had picked up such a pretty ring for me. I can’t describe that moment and it will forever remain as something very special between us. We are really blessed.” Apart from joining the celebrations, the cricketers also took it to social media to wish the new couple.
Mohammad Kaif posted some pictures from the ceremony with the message reading, “At Zak’s Engagement celebrations. Wish Sagarika and Zaheer a great life together.”

Zaheer’s Delhi Daredevils (DD) teammate Shreyas Iyer also wished the couple through his Instagram account, “Amazingly cute couple @zakkhan34 and @sagarikaghatge Best of luck for your journey ahead…..god bless. #partynight.”
After Yuvraj and Hazel Keech, Zaheer and Sagarika will also soon tie the knot.
