Zimbabwe were bowled out for 368 against Bangladesh in their first innings at the start of Day 4 of the second Test at Khulna. Hamilton Masakadza was the highest scorer of the innings with 158 runs coming off massive 326 deliveries. Followed him was Regis Chakbva, who scored 101 thus bringing up his maiden Test century.

Despite of a great innings from Masakdza and Chakabva, Zimbabwe failed to surpass Bangladesh’s total of 433 and fell short of 65 runs. Bangladesh’s star all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan was the highest wicket taker as he claimed five wickets for 80 runs. Now, it remains to be seen how long would Bangladesh bat and when would they declare their second innings after a handsome lead. The Zimbabwean bowlers have also started thinking how to restrict the Bangladesh batsmen to a good total so that they earn a chance to draw level in the series.
