Zimbabwe and Ireland face off in the final game of the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on Tuesday. The series has already been clinched 2-0 by the hosts, who won the first two games by margins of two and five wickets respectively. While Zimbabwe will ruthlessly aim for a 3-0 whitewash, which the Southern African nation is not quite used to, Ireland will hope to end their short tour of Zimbabwe on a positive note with a victory. There could however, be a few changes in the Zimbabwean lineup in the final one-dayer, in order to give some of the main players a break. The two sides have had quite a few close encounters in the past, with the group matches in the 2007 and 2015 World Cups coming to mind in this regard, with Zimbabwe suffering a close defeat in the mega-event earlier this year. Zimbabwe have been a comprehensive unit in the ongoing series however, and will not easily lose their momentum in the upcoming match.
