After Operation Sindoor, IPL 2025 set to continue from THIS day, Take a look at new schedule

After the Operation Sindoor, the BCCI released the new schedule of IPL 2025. The tournament is now going to resume from May 17, and the final is going to be held on June 3rd.

The new schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has been released. Now the tournament is going to continue from May 17, and the final is going to be held on June 3rd. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had announced this new schedule on Monday May 12.

According to the new announcement of BCCI, IPL is starting from 17th May. And its final will now be played on 3rd June. There will be two double headers in this changed schedule. Which will be played on two Sundays.

DC vs PBKS

The tournament was postponed on 9 May. It was postponed for a week due to tension on the border between India and Pakistan. The match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala also had to be cancelled.

This tournament will now be played in six grounds – Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. A total of 17 matches will be played. Two of these will be double-headers. Two of which will be on Sunday. The venue of the playoffs will be announced later.

RCB and KKR will clash in the first match on May 17. This match will be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. The first qualifier will be held on May 29. And the eliminator will be played on May 30. The second qualifier will be held on June 1 and the final will be played on June 3.

A total of 17 matches are to be played. 13 league matches and four playoff matches. This means that the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals which was canceled in Dharamsala on May 8 will be played again. This match will now be held in Jaipur on May 24.
