After Virat Kohli’s retirement, Who will take on the No.4 position in Test cricket? Few players on the list
As India is gearing up to face England for a five-match Test series- set to begin June 20- the question arises who will be the player to come at No. 4 to bat as Virat Kohli has announced his retirement from red-ball format.

There are a few candidates to take the spot, but the final decision will depend on captain Shubman Gill and head coach Gautam Gambhir.
Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill is named India’s Test captain for this England series. The 25-year-old batter has usually played in the top-order in red-ball format. He has played as an opener or at No. 3, but now might even come out at the 4th place.
