England’s left-arm spinner Phil Edmonds shows the scars tattooed on his body by the West Indian pacemen in the 1986 Kingston Test while relaxing at Ocho Rios. West Indies went on to win the Test by 10 wickets. According to his wife, Frances, he bruised easily. Phil Edmonds was omitted from the last two Tests to include an extra batsman, leaving no room for him. Edmonds played 51 tests for England with a highest score of 64 runs and took 125 wickets at an average of 34.18. After retirement he enjoyed a successful stint as a businessman, amassing an estimated fortune of 14 million pounds.
