The couple got married last year in January. The former Australian cricketer, a regular One-Day International (ODI) and Test player represented Australia until the year 2006-07 when he retired from cricket after the Ashes. He is known for his stylish strokes especially the one’s through the covers and square of the wicket. He played a key role in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in 2004 to defeat India after 30 years on Indian soil and was named the man of the series. The right-handed batsman was also awarded the Test player of the year at the annual Allan Border Medal ceremony. Post retirement after the 2006-07 Ashes, Martyn joined Indian Cricket League (ICL) but was unable to play due to the birth of his first son named Ryder and rejoined the ICL in 2008. Further in 2010 he was brought to play for Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League (IPL). Currently, he does commentary work for various broadcasters.
