‘Everything possible in…’:Jofra Archer eyes playing final Two Tests against India, also wishes to play in The Ashes

England pacer Jofra Archer has shared his wish to play the final two Tests against India, and also spoke about playing the Ashes.

Following his memorable return to Test cricket- marked by a victory in the Lord’s Test, England’s fierce pacer Jofra Archer has stated that he wants to play in the final two Test matches of the series. He would do anything that is needed to secure his place in the plane to Australia for the Ashes- that is going to be held later this year.

30-year-old Jofra Archer was sidelined from Test cricket for more than four years doe to consistent injuries, but he struck his first success on the third ball of his comeback. He also provided key breakthroughs during India’s final-innings chase.

I can play the other two if they let me,” Archer was quoted saying in BBC.
I don’t want to lose this series. I said I wanted to play the Test summer and I wanted to play the Ashes. One tick is already there and I will do everything possible in my power to be on the plane to Australia in November,” he said.

Jofra Archer also proved that he is there to face the challenge posed by Test cricket as he bowled 39.2 overs at consistent speeds. His average speed never went below 87m/h (nearly 140km/h), and he bowled 41 deliveries that were over 90m/h (nearly 144km/h).
