Former Indian allrounder Joins the game of Politics: He is a member of… His name is…

Former Indian allrounder Kedar Jadhav had announced retirement from all formats of cricket in 2024. He used to play with Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL, but now has joined Bhartiya Janta Party.

Former Indian allrounder Kedar Jadhav has joined the game of politics. Kedar became a member of Bhartiya Janta Patry (BJP) on Tuesday. He took the membership in presence of Maharashtra BJP president Ravindra Chavan and minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.

Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, Kedar Jadhav has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party today. He has a significant impact in the Indian cricket, and we welcome him to the BJP family.

Kedar Jadhav was born on March 26 1985 in Pune, Maharashtra. He used to play as a right handed batter and off-spin bowling all-rounder. He began his cricketing career by playing in domestic matches for Maharashtra, eventually making it to the international level.

Kedar Jadhav’s ODI debut was against Sri Lanka in November 2014, while his T20I debut was against Zimbabwe in July 2015. However, his time with the Indian national team came to an end after 2020 as he used to face injuries and fluctuations in his form.

Kedar Jadhav used to play for CSK, RCB and SRH in the IPL. He had scored 1196 runs in 93 matches, and his unique bowling style along with role of a finisher in middle-order gave him special identification.

Jadhav retired from all forms of cricket on 3rd June 2024, at the age of 39. If talking about his personal life, he is married to Snehal since 2011 and even has a daughter.
