Gujarat Lions vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, IPL 2016, Qualifier 1: Likely XI comparison

High on confidence Gujarat Lions (GL) will take on the glittering and pumped up Royal Challengers Bangalore (IPL) side in the Qualifier 1 of the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at Bangalore on Wednesday. They will be banking on the likes of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers as they can win the game for his side if click. Their bowling looked good which once used vulnerable, Yuzvendra Chahal, Chris Jordan and Srinath Aravind has been bowling well and will look to put up a good show in the decisive game. GL on the other hand, have found a reliable all-rounder in the form of Dwayne Smith who has not only smashed runs but also chipped wickets. Brendon McCullum at the top is always lethal and can turn things around at the start along with skipper Suresh Raina at three. They have good depth in their batting with Aaron Finch and Dinesh Karthik in the middle-order. Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja and Eklavya Dwivedi further adds more solidity to their batting.

Dhawal Kulkarni and Praveen Kumar have done well with the new ball and Bravo’s prowess in the death is well-known. They look a complete and well-polished side with all their bases covered. Their batting can hammer RCB’s bowling and have a good chance to win this game as they match is scheduled to be played at Bengaluru, which is a batting paradise.
