India’s star pacer Mohammed Shami shared his love for his daughter Aaira on her 10th birthday through an emotional Instagram post on July 17 amid ongoing legal battle with his estranged wife Hasin Jahan regarding alimony payments and custody.
Mohammed Shami shared some photos with his daughter Aaira along with a wholesome message that read, “Darling, daughter, I still remember all the nights we spent staying up, talking, laughing and specially your dance. Can’t believe you are growing up so fast. I wish only the best for you in life. May God bless you abundantly with love, peace, joy, and good health, today and always. Happy birthday.”
This father-daughter relationship has been complicated since Mohammed Shami separated from Hasin Jahan in 2018. Aaira lives with her mother in Kolkata as of now. Shami had previously also made a social media post about his mall outing with his baby girl, where he had written, “Time stood still when I saw her again after a long time. Love you more than words can say, Bebo.”

Their legal battles are currently ongoing, with the most recent development being a order from Calcutta High Court that directed Shami to pay Rs. 1.5 lakh to his wife and Rs. 2.5 lakhs to his daughter in the name of monthly maintenance.
