Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were cruising towards 190 at one point but could manage only 169 against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the match 27 of Vivo IPL 2018. Krunal Pandya got the first two wickets for MI dismissing Shane Watson in for 12. Ambati Rayudu was in good touch but missed his half century by 4 runs. It was Suresh Raina who anchored the innings with his knock of 75* (47).

MI got off to a steady start with Suryakumar Yadav and Evin Lewis 69 runs to the opening partnership. Rohit Sharma  who came to bat one down hit the winning runs for MI as they registered their second win in the league beating CSK by 8 wickets.
