Shreyas Iyer enjoyed a positive start to his stint as captain, leading from the front to help Delhi Daredevils (DD) post the season’s highest total of 219 for 4 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) match 26 at the Ferozshah Kotla. In reply, Kolkata could not get off to a start losing wickets in heaps, it was only Andre Russell and Shubman Gill that resisted the outcome. With their second win of the series, Delhi move to seventh place in the points table.
