‘It would be this…’: Rishabh Pant drops Cheeky six-word update indicating his fitness update

Ahead of the Manchester Test between India and England, Rishabh Pant has dropped a major update on his fitness.

Indian side is all set to face England in the fourth Test of the five-match series in Manchester on July 23. Following the loss at Lord’s Test, the visitors are currently trailing 1-2 and the upcoming match is going to be a do-or-die for the team. Wicketkeeper-Batter Rishabh Pant is going to be a match-turner for the team.

Rishabh Pant has been a topic of discussion from the middle of the Lord’s Test, as he faced a finger injury while keeping the wickets- with him stepping out of the field and Dhruv Jurel coming in his place. Pant’s injury led to questions being raised on his participation in Manchester. However, Rishabh has recently shared a significant hint about his participation in the upcoming clash.

Rishabh Pant shared a video on his social media account, where he was seen in fully comfortable and playing football while doing field drills and batting in the nets. The caption of the video was, “If calm had a sound, it should be this“.

In the press conference before the Manchester Test, assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate stated that Rishabh Pant might not be able to keep the wickets in the match if he does not feel fully fit. However, Pant will definitely bat in the match.
