1. Shubman Gill
The Gujarat Titans skipper will definitely be looking to start the season strong in the match against the Punjab Kings. Gill is undoubtedly one o GT’s most important players and can really go on to hurt PBKS’ bowlers by playing a big knock.
2. Shreyas Iyer
Punjab Kings acquired the batter’s services at the auction for a whopping fee of INR 26.75 crore and soon after, appointed him as the captain of the side. Iyer will definitely be looking to justify the enormous price-tag laid upon him and he will only be able to do so by playing stunning knocks throughout the season.

3. Jos Buttler
The wicketkeeper-batter will most likely be making his debut for the Gujarat Titans in their IPL 2025 opener against the Punjab Kings. GT acquired Buttler’s services for a massive fee of INR 15.75 crore at the auction and the former England skipper will definitely be looking to make a positive impact on the team.
4. Glenn Maxwell
The explosive Australia batter was roped in by the Punjab Kings at the IPL auction last year for a fee of INR 4.2 crore. Maxwell played for the franchise back when they were called the Kings XI Punjab. He can turn out to be quite a dangerous player with the bat, but can contribute with the ball as well.
5. Rashid Khan
The Gujarat Titans spinner has been one of the franchise’s most important players for the past few seasons and will be looking to continue this form in his side’s IPL 2025 opener against the Punjab Kings. Rashid can cause major problems for PBKS batters, who may struggle against his impressive spin deliveries.
6. Marco Jansen
The South Africa all-rounder was roped in by the Punjab Kings for a massive fee of INR 7 crore. Jansen can not only contribute well with the ball, but is also an explosive hitter. He will definitely be one of the players who can cause damage against GT in both the batting and bowling departments.
7. Mohammed Siraj
The India pacer’s services were acquired by the Gujarat Titans for a huge fee of INR 12.25 crore. Before this, Siraj spent 7 seasons with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and became a key player for the team. He will be looking to make a positive impact in the GT side in his first season itself.
8. Arshdeep Singh
Though the Punjab Kings made the surprise move of not retaining the pacer ahead of the auction, they ended up acquiring his services at the auction for a mammoth fee of INR 18 crore. Arshdeep has been terrific for PBKS in the past few IPL seasons and will be looking to continue his form in the 2025 campaign as well.
