1. Shane Watson and Ricky Ponting (Australia) – 252 runs
In the semi-final of the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy, the Australian duo formed a fantastic partnership against England to guide the Baggy Greens to a comprehensive 9-wicket victory. While Watson remained unbeaten on 136, Ponting remained unbeaten on 111.

2. Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah (Bangladesh) – 224 runs
During a group stage match against New Zealand in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, the veteran Bangladesh due formed a sensational stand to guide their team to the target of 266. Shakib played a fabulous knock of 114 while Mahmudullah played a stunning unbeaten innings of 102.

During the semi-final clash against Bangladesh in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, the duo of Rohit and Virat formed an incredible partnership to carry India to a comfortable 9-wicket win. Rohit played a fabulous unbeaten knock of 123 while Kohli also remained unbeaten on 96.

8. Alec Stewart and Nasser Hussain (England) – 175 runs
