Rohit holds the record for putting up the highest individual score in one-day cricket history. He played an outstanding knock of 264 runs against Sri Lanka back in 2013 and this record is also likely to never be broken.

3. Most sixes

The current India skipper also holds the record for hitting the highest number of maximums in international cricket history. Rohit has so far hit 633 sixes and it will be incredibly hard to take this record from him.

4. Most fours in an ODI innings

Rohit also holds the record for scoring the most number of fours in an ODI innings. He scored an outrageous 33 boundaries during his innings of 264 against Sri Lanka. It will be very difficult for anyone to break this record in the future as well.

5. Most centuries in a tournament

The record for scoring the most number of tons in a tournament is also currently held by Rohit. The explosive batter scored 5 centuries in the 2019 ODI World Cup and was undoubtedly India’s best performer throughout the ICC event.

The current India skipper in the one-day and Test format has been a crucial player for the Men in Blue for several years. Rohit also played a massive role in India’s 2024 T20 World Cup triumph, following which he announced his retirement from the format.
