Mohammed Shami’s Wife to face legal actions following her viral Assault video

Hasin Jahan, estranged wife of cricketer Mohammed Shami, has once again come under controversy following a police complaint filed against her and her daughter Arshi. The complaint, submitted by a neighbour named Dalia Khatoon, alleges serious offences, including attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, and physical assault. These allegations were reportedly sparked by a viral video circulating on social media.

A land dispute in West Bengal’s Birbhum district has sparked controversy in Suri town. According to a report by The Siyasat Daily, West Bengal police officials said Hasin Jahan had begun construction on a plot registered under her daughter Arshi’s name. Neighbour Dalia Khatoon objected, claiming the land was disputed and construction is prohibited.

A viral video on social media shows Hasin Jahan wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, while her neighbour, Dalia Khatoon, appears in a maxi dress and dupatta. In the footage, Hasin is seen removing bricks from a construction site as Dalia intervenes, resulting in a physical altercation. Khatoon was allegedly assaulted and an attempt was made to kill her by Jahan and her daughter, Arshi Jahan. Following the incident, Dalia filed a police complaint against them, charging them with attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, and assault. However, Hasin alleged that the mother-daughter duo attempted to halt construction on the disputed land, a claim she has not yet proven.

The West Bengal Police are currently investigating a registered case. No arrests have been made yet. According to authorities, the investigation will be conducted based on video footage and witness statements.
