IPL 2025 set to begin from March 22
The 18th edition of Indian Premier League is set to commence from Saturday, March 22 with the opening clash to be played between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens.
Some World Cup winning captains will also play the upcoming season
A total of 4 World Cup winning captains will be seen featuring in the upcoming season of IPL. Only one out of the four will be seen leading his franchise in the prominent league.

The legendary wicketkeeper-batter, who led India to the 2007 T20 World Cup victory as well as the 2011 ODI World Cup triumph, will be featuring for the Chennai Super Kings in what could be the last IPL season before his retirement.
2. Pat Cummins
The Australia skipper who led the Baggy Greens to the 2023 ODI World Cup triumph, will be seen leading the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the upcoming IPL season. Cummins led the franchise last year as well and guided them all the way to the final.
