India and England are going to face each other in a five-match Test series- set to begin June 20. An emerging team from Mumbai is also going to tour England, and a player from IPL franchise Punjab Kings has been named as the captain for the tour.
Tournament will be against County team Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) head Abhay Hadap stated that the main cause of the tour is to help with the development of the players, enhance their technical and strategic skills, as well as promote mental strength and cultural exchange. The team is going to play against Nottinghamshire, County Composite Team, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
Suryansh Shegde named as captain Suryansh Shedge has been appointed the captain of Mumbai’s emerging team which will tour England for a month from June 28. Suryansh Shedge was seen playing for Punjab Kings in IPL 2025.

Musheer Khan- Angkrish Raghivanshi also part of the team: Mumbai Cricket Association said on Monday that the team also includes batting all-rounder Mushir Khan, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and young spinner Himanshu Singh. This team will play five two-day matches and four one-day matches against various teams of England.
Ranji Trophy playing cricketers also in the team: Some members of the team going on this tour have already represented Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy. This team will also include a six-member management staff in which former Mumbai player Kiran Powar will be the head coach and MCA treasurer Armaan Malik will be the manager.
