During a clash between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Lucknow Super Giants in the 2025 season of IPL, Cummins started his innings with 3 sixes in a row to help the Hyderabad-based franchise in posting a big total of 190/9 in 20 overs. He first smashed 2 sixes on Shardul Thakur’s final 2 deliveries of the over before smashing Avesh Khan for a six on the first delivery of his over.
