Prithvi Shaw surprised everyone with his impressive batting as a youngster during the early days of his cricketing career,but later his performance faced a steep fall and now his hopes of returnning back to the Indian team are almost over.

Prithvi Shaw opened up about his cricket career

Prithvi Shaw opened up about his cricket career and revealed that his career was ruined. Shaw said,”There are a lot of things, the way people look at it is different. Because I know what has happened. I can understand it, I have made a lot of wrong decisions in life. I started giving less time to cricket. I used to practice a lot yet for example, I used to bat for 3-4 hours in the nets. I never got tired of batting. I used to go to the field for half a day. I agree there was a distraction.”

Prithvi Shaw further said, “After this, I started considering what was not necessary as important. I made some wrong friends. Because I was at the top at that time, friendships are also made. Then they took me here and there. All those things, then I got off the track. 8 hours of practice on the field, now it had become 4 hours.”

Prithvi Shaw started his career with a century

Prithvi Shaw began his international career with a century in 2018, making an impressive start that only a few players have achieved. Having debuted for Team India at a young age, he was compared to cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

Prithvi Shaw revealed no senior cricketer reached out during his struggling days.

Shaw revealed that no big cricketer called him during his struggling days. He said, ‘Except Rishabh Pant and Sachin Tendulkar, who have seen my struggle. They have seen me grow up with Arjun Tendulkar. I have also visited his house.’ he added
