Delhi’s coach Sarandeep Singh called Priyansh Arya as ‘one of the most talented players in the country right now’. Sarandeep also stated that the ability of Priyansh to score quick runs with right shot selection makes him different from others.

24-year-old Priyansh scored a spectacular century in the IPL clash against Chennai Super Kings on April 8. Priyansh was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs. 3.8 crore in the mega auction.
The left-handed Priyansh has been in excellent form so far, and has scored 158 runs in four matches, averaging at 39.50 accompanied by a strike rate of 210/66. Him scoring 11 sixes has made him one of the top power hitters in IPL 2025.
Sarandeep stated that the performance by Priyansh in Delhi Premier league (DPL) led to his inclusion in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Punjab Kings picked him in the IPL auctions after he gave a strong performance in domestic circuit.
Sandeep said, ‘Earlier he used to get out after scoring just 50 and 60 runs. We worked on his game awareness and patience. Now you can see maturity.
