Rahul Dravid to Karn Sharma: 7 Indian cricketers who made their T20I debuts under MS Dhoni but faded away
1. Murali Kartik
The former India left-arm spinner played only a single T20I in his career and he played it back in 2007. Kartik featured for the Men in Blue in their clash against Australia. The spinner did play in 8 Tests and 37 ODIs throughout his international career, picking up 24 and 37 wickets respectively.
2. Sudeep Tyagi
The former India pacer made his T20I debut back in 2009 against Sri Lanka in Mohali. Sudeep only played 1 T20I in his international career. He did however, feature for India in 4 ODIs where he picked up a total of 3 wickets.

3. Rahul Dravid
The legendary India cricketer came out of retirement to featured for India in their T20I against England which was held in Manchester. Dravid played under Dhoni’s leadership in the match, however once again announced his retirement after the clash.
4. Karn Sharma
The spinner made his T20I debut for India in their encounter against England back in 2014 and never played in the format ever again. Karn was only able to feature in 1 Test and 2 ODIs in his international career.
5. Sreenath Aravind
The left-arm pacer was only able to make a single appearance for India in the T20I format and he did so during Men in Blue’s encounter against South Africa which was held in Dharamsala in 2015. He didn’t get a chance to prove himself in the one-day and Test formats.
6. Pawan Negi
The left-arm spinner only got one chance to showcase his talent on the international fold. Negi played just a single T20I in his international career where he featured against UAE in Mirpur back in 2016.
7. Rishi Dhawan
The pacer only got a chance in a single T20I throughout his career. Dhawan featured for India in their clash against Zimbabwe in Harare which was held back in 2016. He also was only able to get chances in 3 ODI matches where he wasn’t able to impress much and only managed to pick up 1 wicket.
